Explore the myriad of unintended consequences that often follow—misalignment, missed perspectives, and rework—so you can slow down just enough to lead with greater clarity, alignment, and impact.
Learning Objectives:
At the conclusion of this session; participants will:
- Learn the importance of matching the skills, knowledge and ability requirements of the job
- Understand and be able to lead discussions to ensure that leaders have their own behavioral awareness
- Discuss and redirect leaders through the unintended consequences of their speed behaviors.

Speaker Information:

Tamara Atkins is a “no-nonsense” business coach who helps coachees stretch to reach greater leadership outcomes. She is a successful businessperson with 40+ years of experience in training and development across many industries, including energy, healthcare, financial services, technology, and consumer goods. Her career has mostly focused on leadership training/coaching, team-building, and succession planning. She is currently the managing principal of her own company, Strategic Visions, and works part-time with other coaching organizations.
Tamara has earned degrees in business administration and organizational management. She holds a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coaching Federation. She has obtained multiple training and assessment certifications, as well as several wine certifications, including the Court of Master Sommeliers (Level One). She is a lifetime committee member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
