Study after study has proven that employee empowerment leads to employee accountability, increased productivity, and better customer service.
Although many people would like to empower their employees, they often don't know how to do it effectively and the results can be disastrous for managers, employees, the organization, and customers. To truly empower employees in an effective and long-lasting way, we have to empower employees to empower themselves!
This session will help you to:
- Understand what empowerment really means
- Identify common mistakes in employee empowerment
- Identify key steps for building an empowered workforce
- Understand the importance of rewarding success and initiative
- Evaluate failure and learn how to turn it into opportunity
- 11:30-12:00 Check-in / Networking / Announcements / Lunch
- 12:00-1:00 Speaker Presentation, followed by Q&A
Re-certification credits are available for this event (1 SHRM PDC; 1 hour HRCI) and will be shared with attendees after the meeting.
Guests are always welcome to attend our meetings, both in person and online!
