Speaker Information
Sherri L. Osterlund, PHR, SHRM-CP - Gallup Certified Strengths Coach
Sherri has been helping leaders build high performing teams and connecting people with their talent for over 20 years. In 2014 Sherri became a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach.
After ten years in Retail Operations, she moved to the Houston area where she joined a staffing firm and spent five years consulting with a broad spectrum of clients ranging from petrochem to light industrial. Since 2001 she has served as Board Member of Texas Bay Area SHRM in a variety of roles. For seven years Sherri placed top talent from Vice Presidents to Veterinarians at The University of Texas Medical Branch. Most recently she served as the Director of Recruiting at Texas Dow Employees Credit Union (TDECU), a $4.7 billion credit union.
In July 2024 Sherri left her corporate role to focus on helping a broader audience of leaders through her consulting firm, Executive Consulting Resources. As a lifelong learner, Sherri is currently pursuing a masters in Management and Leadership at the University of Houston. In September 2024 she became certified in Emotional Intelligence.
Sherri enjoys spending time with her favorite Rocket Scientist, her husband of 30 years. She is a mom to Natalie who is an MS2 Student at Baylor College of Medicine and Carson who is a Junior at The University of Houston.
