    The Topic:

"The Culture Branding Imperative: How to Become a Brand People Want to Work For—and Buy From" with Nader Safinya

This unorthodox yet practical session will challenge HR professionals to rethink the purpose and impact of company branding by looking inward before looking outward. Too often, employer branding and customer branding are treated as separate efforts—resulting in fragmentation, misalignment, and broken emotional contracts with both employees and customers.

Through compelling storytelling, visceral real-world examples, and moments of live audience interaction, Nader Safinya (The Culture Branding Guy) introduces the concept of Culture Branding: the practice of ensuring your internal culture is genuinely reflected in your external brand.

Participants will walk away with a powerful diagnostic tool to assess whether their company is performing or reflecting, and a practical framework to begin closing the gap between who they say they are and who they actually are. This session is designed to stir introspection, provoke action, and offer a new lens through which HR leaders can influence organizational strategy, talent attraction, and employee experience.

    Learning Objectives:

    • Understand why most employer branding efforts fail to resonate—and what to do instead

    • Learn how internal misalignment drives external churn (and the hidden costs of that disconnect)

    • Explore a simple but powerful tool (The Culture Branding StatementTM) to uncover the values and lived essence of your company

    • Discover how job descriptions, onboarding, and other internal tools can become emotional contracts that reflect (or betray) company truth

    • Gain a language and framework for HR to influence company-wide decision making with clarity, empathy, and strategic intent

    • Leave with practical examples of how culture branding has transformed teams, improved retention, and rebuilt trust from the inside out

    Meeting Agenda:

    • 11:30-12:00 Check-in / Networking / Announcements / Lunch
    • 12:00-1:00 Speaker Presentation, followed by Q&A

    Speaker Information:

Nader Safinya is The Culture Branding Guy and founder of Blackribbit, where he helps companies become brands that reflect who they really are—on the inside and out. After applying to 460 jobs in six months and being ghosted by over 400 of them, he realized just how broken the workplace had become. That experience sparked his culture branding program and deepened his vision: to make humanity harmonious by lifting our relationship with the workplace. Growing up across cultures shaped his belief that harmony begins with shared understanding—which is why he created a unique model that brings culture and brand together, so when a company’s employee and customer meet for the first time, they tell the same story.

"Documenting and Dealing with Toxic Behavior Patterns" with Alise Isbell

Do you deal with toxic people at work? We all do. What if you could see the trouble before hiring or engaging in relationships with these people? This session shares practical concepts allowing you to avoid potential toxic situations or document bad behaviors if they already exist in your organization.

Gain actionable advice from an expert, then interact with colleagues to gain even more behavioral strategies. This three-hour session starts with Identifying Toxic Behavior Patterns. Next, we learn about Dealing with Toxic Behavior Patterns. We then transition into sharing toxic tales and gaining tips, tricks, tactics and techniques from fellow-professionals at your table.

    Learning Objectives:

    • Identify general and specific toxic or manipulative behavior patterns.
    • Recognize deception cues, minimizing language and blame shifting language.
